It wasn’t what I expected but turned out to be a very good nook. The characters grew on me from the beginning especially the bunny . If you want a good story and a laugh this is the book for you. Just keep your eyes on the bunny.
Two exiled princesses, and innkeepers son, a drunken thief, and a magic user with a bunny with red eyes. What a cast of characters. Starts off with the exiled princesses going into town and being robbed by the drunken thief. Little did they know the trouble they were to encounter in trying to get their stolen money back. What starts out harmless soon becomes a quest to put them back on their throne and to save the world.Lots of humor in this novel, which is parts 1 thru 3, and it works out quite well. The drunken thief thinks he is seeing things when he first encounters the bunny with red eyes, that shoots out flames when needed. The two princesses are unsure about what to do, even with their powers and warrior training. Throw in Ned, the innkeepers son, who is out for revenge upon the people who killed his father. Throw in to the mix the ‘owner’ of the bunny, a magic user who is not all to sure what is up in the world, and you have a world class romp of an adventure.
Nice plot and great characters make this novel engrossing and fun to read. Quick action and plot moves along quite well. There are additional characters introduced in the novel that help plot move along.
