Bobby on a stick

A professional thief, Bobby Barhoe, has a problem with the Mafia: They want him to do a job which he can’t possibly pull off, because one of his most valuable associates, John Staikos, had just had a terrible accident involving an oxygen tank and a blowtorch.
Desperately seeking to vanish as swiftly as possible, Bobby seeks the help of an old flame of his, Eileen Novorski. On his way there though, he runs over a horse, and the owner is an Alabama tribe shaman with a purpose: Help Bobby to bring John back from the dead, save his life, and perhaps have a couple of drinks while they’re at it.
Will Bobby be able to really bring John back to life? Will they do the job in time? Or will they end up in the Parking Lot of Eternity, forever trying to find a free spot?
In his efforts, he will team up with a shaman, and almost die a number of times, fighting evil spirits, and demons, as well as get involved in a war against the forces of Hell itself.
Hope you enjoy the book and have a nice holiday season!
If you want the paperback version, please buy it from the Createspace Store.
Ghosts, Demons, and Zombies…oh my
This is not the normal type of book that I would pick up and read, however I’m happy I had the chance to read this book. I started out a little slow at first. While reading, I wondered what direction this book would go. The more I read, the better the book became.
I enjoyed the characters, especially Bobby and Eileen. I also enjoyed the action in the second half of the book. This is the type of book that you read and never know what to expect from page to page. I also really enjoyed finding out how the book got its name “Bobby on a Stick.” I laughed when he finally figured out how to operate that horse.
This book is full of humor, action, and interesting characters. It’s definitely an entertaining read.
Endless imagination, applied to describe another version of the physical battle between evil and humanity. If you like both demons and end-of-the-world-is-coming stories, you will like this book that flows easily as water down the hill.
It took me just a long, but pleasant, afternoon to read and keep in mind that english is not my native language!
Go on Vasilis, if you could write this in 3 weeks, you sure can do much better when time will not be a restraint!
